Dentist

Dr. Barber is a board certified pediatric dentist, and a native of Ann Arbor. After earning her dental degree from the University of Michigan, she moved to Chicago, where she worked in a pediatric dental clinic for children from low income homes. She then returned to Ann Arbor, where she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Michigan Hospital. In this residency she received advanced training in emergency dentistry, and treatment of patients with special needs. She then completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the University of Michigan, where she continues to teach part-time. During dental school and residency, she volunteered multiple times at Bay Cliff Health Camp in Big Bay, MI, where dental treatment is provided to children with special health care needs.

Dr. Barber is active in the dental community. She is a member of the Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Michigan Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is passionate about providing oral health education to parents and patients, and looks forward to establishing long lasting relationships with her patients and their families.

Dr. Barber is excited to provide care for those in her home-town community. She is married and has three young children. She enjoys snowboarding in the winter, and spending time boating and swimming during the summer. She loves running into her patients out and about in town, so make sure to say hello if you see her!
